Lauren Colt
Future Legends’ Scholar

Lauren Colt is a scholar, artist, book-lover, military kid, and graduate of The Cambridge School in San Diego.

Now a sophomore at Gordon College in the Global Honors Program, Lauren is majoring in Political Science and International Affairs with a minor in Psychology. She hopes to pursue a career in which she can reform inefficient and unjust systems while working alongside suffering people, whether through civil rights law, political office, or advocacy for classical Christian education.

Daughter of a retired Army colonel, Lauren has called many places home, including: Tacoma, WA, Vicenza, Italy, San Diego, CA, and, most recently, Boston, MA. In her free time, Lauren delights in practicing the harp, discussing theology with her floor, playing volleyball games on the quad, competing in Dutch Blitz game nights with her Global Honors cohort, and planning her next international adventure.

She is very thankful to the Future Legends Scholarship Program for connecting her with her amazing mentor, Cinda Lucas and to Cinda, for introducing her to Rotary and providing this opportunity to share with a willing audience.
