Backpack Stuffing for Camp Pendleton Families

Our July 27, 2016 meeting included a hands-on project headed up by Robin Chappelow, Chair of our new Community Services Committee. Robin worked so hard in bringing 75 backpacks, along with school supplies, for Rotarians to stuff for special needs children from military families at Camp Pendleton. Robin also brought speakers from the base to educate us about the needs that low income military families face on a daily basis – especially when they have special needs children.
